There are many GeForce GTX 1060 models available on the market with different types of cooling and frequency characteristics. ASUS also offers a lot of options. One of such gas pedals will be considered in this review. It is a representative of the ASUS Dual line of video adapters with high-quality cooling and standard frequencies.
Video card ASUS DUAL-GTX1060-6G is equipped with a dual-fan cooler in white, which is a distinctive feature of the Dual series. This visual feature allows the card to be used in assemblies with other components that have white elements.
A graphics card with a snow-white case looks original and stylish. At the same time the fans and the board are made in black. The total length is 24 cm. Cooling takes up two slots. The board is full-sized, not cut-down format. There is one external power connector in the corner. On the back panel there are five ports for image output: two HDMI, two DisplayPort and one DVI.

The fans are 90 mm in size with large, large blades. The fan housing unscrews independently from the radiator. Therefore, even with the warranty seal you can easily clean the cooling unit from dust if such a need arises.
Two thick heat pipes run through the base of the heatsink and directly contact the GPU chip. The top of the base carries a series of plates that run through the heat pipes. The VRM block has a small ribbed heatsink.
The board is made by Super Alloy Power II technology with high quality electronic components. The GPU is powered by four phases. At the heart of the graphics card is the GP106-400-A1 processor. Micron 8BA47 D9TCB memory chips are unsoldered. The factory frequencies are in line with the recommended specifications. The base frequency is 1506 MHz, Boost Clock is 1709 MHz, effective memory frequency is 8014 MHz.
